|The project Ser.P.I.Co. arises from the need to optimize, for a consortium of 29 municipalities placed around Verona, the interaction between different public organization: municipalities, Region of Veneto, Province of Verona and the Adige river basin Consortium, on topographic, cartographic and thematic data to provide a range of shared services to these entities.
In the first instance, we proceeded to collect all the necessary information, such as:
Normalized all the information listed above, we proceeded to their update, with activities of photo-interpretation and field surveys, covering all major map in ArcGIS Desktop environment.
Prepared the geodatabase we proceed we proceeded to link information organized in relational geodatabase, about: rules of the plan, information on land ownership, practices for new construction or modification of existing, etc.. As a next step to the establishment of information assets was designed and developed a geoportal for:
As for the images “PentaView” (5 aerial photo synchronized) was developed a specific environment consulting, integrated with the geoportal, which allows the users to view images and make planimetric and altimetric measurements of the elements on image them: buildings, roads, fences, structures, etc.. and using of LIDAR data also the dynamic construction of quoted plans.
The project also involved training for employees of public organizations in order to ensure a fair and effective use of both web-based system and data produced.
The last phase of the project involved the design and development of the software for the provision of verticals services.

access to correlating alphanumeric and spatial information in order to support: development of land plans, mapping topography, images PentaView, database building permits, etc..
consulting PentaView images for dimensional inspection new building projects, avoiding costly inspections in the field;
instruction of building practices with the support of all the information organized into the system.
The purpose of the project Ser.P.I.Co. is to optimize the activities of Public organizations in land management saving costs and to by provide citizens with online tools to the instruction of the practices of urbanization.
The Ser.P.I.Co. project concerns implementation of WEB based GIS services for data processing, visualization, analysis and retrieving in a near real time environment. Implementation of web based template.
The database maintained by the Ser.PICo. project includes detailed vector information for each of the 27 municipalities that are part of the BIM Adige Consortium:
The system provides systems update with versioning, and incremental backups on a recovery server to ensure continuous service to the municipalities.

So, in addition to testing techniques presented in previous projects we worked a lot on the integration and navigation between applications, in a logic of applicative cooperation, both between products and between users.
This aspect has been addressed in direct relationship with the number of users to meet the needs of all customers of the system.
In the Ser.P.I.Co. project were carried out a series of spatial analysis aimed at defining potential use of areas for the construction of new buildings. The analysis took into account the parcel, the urban development plans, networks of services: roads, technological networks, spatial constraints (environmental, landscape, etc.). Combined with building index to determine the possible urban development of municipality. The integration of the original information with those produced by the spatial analysis are used for the evaluation of new building permits.
The project involved the acquisition and editing of a lot information, updating them using aerial images and PentaView. After each stage of production was applied the tests laid down in the project plan for the verification of acquisition and editing of cartographic level.
